Naming emotions can be hard. Most students (and adults!) have a limited emotional vocabulary. By extending and expanding their emotional vocabulary, students can put a name to emotions more easily and explore how they feel in a healthy way. This resource includes a detailed lesson plan, a PowerPoint (with examples and video) and printables. Lesson is designed for 1 hour but the activity can be repeated regularly as an emotion check in with students.
